My husband and I are collaborating on a series of blues music-inspired poems. He chooses the artist and the music...we watch videos of the song being performed in live settings...he writes a short "bio" of the artist...and I create a poem based on whatever song we have chosen. For example, we recently finished a piece based on ZZ Top's "Blue Jean Blues." During the pandemic, following this trail of music has been fun and inspiring.
