Goodreads asked A.S. Thornton:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.S. Thornton I am very much a "plotter" so if I'm not sure where I want to go next, I don't simply write (although for some people that is the best way to deal with writer's block!). I really think through the next scenes and figure out what I want to happen and what I'm building towards. If I'm really stuck, I'll try to add in a new subplot, because that will give me fresh material to play with. No matter what you do, you can always go back and edit if you don't like what you did.
