What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

David R. Slayton Persist. Never give up, and learn to live with rejection. Writing is hard. Traditional publication is hard, but every book or story you complete and submit is another shot at the target. Keep writing no matter what and no matter what advice you get, remember that it's all relative (including mine). No matter what you hear or how many times you're rejected, don't let anyone take your writing from you.
