I have not kept up with this series and am a bit confused about who's who with the characters. Anyone have a list of characters with a little background?

Cara Rutledge - originally from Charleston, SC; grew up there with her big brother (Palmer), mother (Olivia, aka Lovie), and father (Stratton); spent every summer of her childhood at a beach house in Isle of Palms, SC; after high school, left Charleston for Chicago, IL; came back to Isle of Palms after getting laid off to help Lovie; met Brett and married him and stayed on Isle of Palms; eventually left again for Tennessee, then back again (and again?) lol

Hope: Cara's adopted daughter; she adopted her in Tennessee

Palmer Rutledge: Cara's older brother; married to Julie; children - Linnea and Cooper

Linnea Rutledge: Spent a summer at the beach house after graduating from college; became involved with John Peterson, son of next door neighbor, Emmi

Cooper Rutledge: Youngest Rutledge child

Toy: spent a summer caring for Lovie at the beach house; has a child named Little Lovie; works for the turtle hospital at the SC aquarium; married to Ethan

Heather: spent a summer at the beach house to work on painting birds on an American post office stamp commission; suffers from anxiety; met Bo that summer and ended up marrying him; has 2 kids with Bo? Now lives on Dewees Island with Bo and children; fellow turtle team member

Emmi: Cara's best friend; they grew up spending summers together at the beach; Emmi divorced her husband Tom and sold her own beach house; fellow turtle team member

Flo: Lovie's best friend who lived next door at the beach with her mother, Miranda (who has since passed, like Lovie); fellow turtle team founder; Emmi moved in with Flo after selling her own beach house

David: Cara's current partner; Heather's father; not sure where they live at the start of On Ocean Boulevard?

I think that may be it! I'm sure I'm missing someone. I know I seem obsessed, but I've spent the past month with all of these lovely people :)
