Is there a reason there had to be a 30 minute diatribe on the "Cavandish" nominee? It totally made me uninterested in the finish of the story.

Jackie C I totally agree...it was clearly the author's personal opinion on the Kavanaugh hearing. It had no place in the book and then for Ursula to use her ow…moreI totally agree...it was clearly the author's personal opinion on the Kavanaugh hearing. It had no place in the book and then for Ursula to use her own personal experience with a "possible" sexual assault as a reason to vote againt the nomination made even less sense. It should have been caught by the editor...what a stupid thing to add to an otherwise enjoyable story. (less)
