(view spoiler)[While it seemed like mankind was done for, you seemed to show their is always a reason to carry on. At least for as long as you are able to. Is my interpretation similar to your vision for the series? Were you always going to have Michael and Emma's relationship develop throughout the series? What were some of your inspirations for Michael and Emma? They quickly became some of my favorite post apocalyptic couples. (hide spoiler)]

Thanks for the question, Jonathan. Yes, I did want to illustrate the fact that no matter how dark things might get, there's always a reason to keep on going. I think that gets lost sometimes. Often we're so bound by the restrictions of society that we lose sight of the bigger picture. And that whole journey (I hope I don't sound too pretentious here) was kind of reflected in Emma and Michael's relationship. It's very different to a 'pre-infection' relationship, in that there's less to gain and more at stake for the couple. In the same way the world gradually unravels, I wanted their lives to begin to intertwine. Does that make sense? Glad you were able to relate to them both.

The world you created within Autumn was the first time I believed in a world where not only could the 'undead' exist - but that I felt I'd have a chance of surviving! Thank you so much for this. It was a joy to immerse myself in. Will you be writing any more follow ups based in this world?

Hello Mr. Moody, I hope you are doing well. I've read all your books, and the Autumn novels are the best "undead" series I have ever read. Hopefully this becomes a television series in the near future. My question is, have you thought about a comics adaption for any of your stories? The Autumn and Hater series would be amazing if you got some top talent to translate it to this medium.
