Was it only me, or did anyone one else feel very uncomfortable for Micheal to be so wholesome about slavery? (1) He praised his father who was a slave owner that raped and killed some of their slaves. Then (2) the author tried to make us feel sorry for Micheal because he had to spend a MONTH living in the slave quarters then equated that with him being treated as a slave too. He’s playing a false victim.
