How do you get inspired to write?

Ty Debauchee I used to write short stories for a very close friend of mine. One day he suggested that I should start publishing my writing. Finally, while vacationing in Hermosa Beach, CA a couple of years ago, I thought why not. So I started writing and have been ever since. My Ty Debauchee series is planned out for 105 novelettes/novellas so far. I have 38 published or in some stage of editing.
