Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.D. Noland Most of the stories I have written about were inspired by some events in my friends' or my life. For Child Under the Stairs was originally written as a companion book to Skeletons in the Closet that I hope will be out in a few months. The work is total fiction but was inspired by my first boyfriend getting kicked out on the streets at the age of fourteen and becoming friends with Pat that took him in as his own son.
