I've read the Six of Crows duology, and absolutely loved it. However, I haven't read Shadow and Bone, and I have no desire to read it at all. Do I ""have"" to read that trilogy to comprehend this? Can I just look up what happens or something like that?

Ana Hi! I think that if you don't wanna read the s&b trilogy you can read KOS, but i suggest you do anyway if u really wanna understand it. Since it revolves mostly around 2 characters from the s&b trilogy and in general about the aftermath of the war that happened in those books. There's also a sorta side story with Nina, but it also revolves around the same thing a bit. So basically if you really want to make the most out of it you should probably read the trilogy first, but if u read a really good summary you could still understand some parts, tho the character development would still be a bit lacking in my opinion.
