Hi Paul, Got to wonder if the Paul in Survivor Song is a self-tweak, re driving an old, stick-shift Subaru, and clinging for dear life to old phone tech. And why "song?"

Paul Tremblay Maybe a small self-tweak. I do missing driving a stick (I currently drive a hybrid) but that Paul and me don't share an affinity for old tech and things that break down easily.

My favorite songs tend to be short, fast, and a mix of hopeful and melancholy. It was the vibe I wanted to go for with this book.

Hi, Paul. You may have already answered this question, but I didn't go back very far in the question section. When did you start writing and what brought you to it? I think that I first read you in an anthology but don't remember which exactly. I read both novels and short stories. I enjoy anthologies for the reason that I find new, lesser known authors to read.
