asked:
Does it matter what order I read the books of Cather's Great Plains Trilogy? Are the three novels in the Great Plains Trilogy correlated with one another in any way outside of their American Midwest setting?

No. The books are about different characters. They are set in the Great Plains. The characters are much different than one another. All three are good reads, Willa Cather is such a good writer. So read them in whatever order you please.

I didn't know there was a trilogy. I read My Antonia, and I am now reading O Pioneers. They are not connected in any way. The only common denominator between them are the plains and the characters are immigrants. They are both fantastic.
Michael
It does not matter. They are complete stories in themselves with no recurring characters. The only connection is the plains of Nebraska in the late 19th century.
Penney Peirce
I honestly don't know. . .
