My 7 year old son "read" the second half with me on audiobook on a long drive, and there was definitely nothing questionable in the 2nd half. The only scene that would be confusing or upsetting (for readers of any age) was one scene early in the book with a film director assaulting an actress, but it was not graphic, and presumably a 13 year old knows such things happen. On a positive note, the survivor was believed.(less)
