Wei Wuxian probably feels better ultimately now that he knows that Jiang Cheng knows the truth. The author gives the readers closure when we are told that Jiang Cheng did not disobey Wei Wuxian's order to stay put for the sake of revenge, but Jiang Cheng won't admit this because of his pride just like Wei Wuxian wouldn't admit that he sacrificed his golden core. Wen Ning had to tell him while Wei Wuxian was unconscious. Their pride is mainly what keeps them apart.(less)
