Sheila Alan Turing plays a small part, but an interesting one. His presence in the novel at first struck me as a gimmick, but then I appreciated the imagination employed by McEwan, here and throughout the novel. This novel kept me engrossed during the early days of 'lockdown'!
Nancy Alan Turing plays a side role, showing up in a couple of meetings with the main character. A romantic relationship is part of the plot, but this is really not a romance.
Letha Although Alan Turing is not one of the main characters, his character has great credibility in the 'role' he plays in the book given his real life contribution to computation and precursor to AI as we know it now.
Victoria Brogdon I think he plays an essential role as the Final Judge. There are judges throughout the novel and he is the only one who could make a judgment based on laws that are NOT YET on the books.
