I am finding it hard to remember all the characters and their relations. Does the book have a family tree? I am listening the audiobook version If anyone else had this problem and charted a family tree with names, kindly share it. Thank you.

Yes, the book has a family tree at the front.

I always thought that some audibooks should come with a visual aid. In this case it sounds essential! Sorry about that.
Alexandra
ohhhh man! I'm also listening to the audiobook, and I can't keep the kids straight.

There's a family tree at the front of the book - I couldn't imagine listening to an audio book without it.
If it helps at all, the two oldest "children" from Jessie's first marriage both have Celtic names, Ferdia and Saorise. Her three youngest, with new husband Johnny are all girls with names that English readers might find more straightforward (Bridie, TJ and Dilly). Cara's children are both boys (Tom and Vinnie).
Oh and five minutes on google should bring up the family tree!

There is a family tree at the front of the print book. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but it's like any extended family, you figure it out. Just stick with it.

There's a YouTube video with an animation of the family tree. If you stop the animation at the 27 second mark, the entire tree is displayed on screen.

I made my own family tree with the characters' names and ages (I missed the family tree at the front that everyone is talking about)
I got the hang of everyone about halfway through the book but I'd recommend physically noting it down even if it feels a bit exam revision-y :D

More power to you if you can stick it. Bored beyond belief atm.

Yeah I think I will really like this book but I just can't keep track of the characters which is putting me off. Will stick with it and hopefully will become more clear
