I just found out about this book and I'm definitely going to pick up a copy and read it. Is the name Conn in that area a common name? I ask because my grandmother was a Conn from West Virginia. I have other family from West Virginia, Virginia & Kentucky. It was surreal to have someone post this book on Facebook. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Bobi Conn Hi Dawn, how interesting that your grandmother was a Conn! It was not a very common name where I came from, but there was another Conn family in the area who I was always told wasn’t related to us. My great-grandparents were in Bath County, KY. You should be able to find me on Ancestry.com if ever you explore the family tree that way. I’m planning to dive into that soon, myself! Hope you enjoy my memoir when you read it, and take care.
