Patience I would consider it a YA. For older teens 14 and up! Lots of violence but no
Sexual situations.

Kristena Tunstall yes, this book is clean. It’s definitely YA. Depending on the child, anywhere from 12 to 14. Due to the violence through the book series, 14 y/o is probably a good age to start. However, if you have a more mature child that is 12 or 13, then go with your gut.
