Hey Tony, great series! I bought Nascent May 18 and by May 26 I had finished them all after a marathon binge reading. I'm completely captivated (and wasted lol)! I have a couple of questions: When will the next book come out? Do you have any plans for how many installments there will be in the story arc? Cheers, /Mats

(view spoiler)[Hi Mats, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'd hoped to be well on the way with Book 8 by now, but my day job has been a bit out of control with the COVID thing. I'm not medical, but the workload has mushroomed. Even so, I've finished about 25% of the book, and it looks like things will ease up a little on the work front. I've had a bit of a block with where Leah is on one of the worlds, but that's dissolved, and we're moving faster again.
The plan is that Book 8 (tentatively called 'War') will end this first arc of Leah's story (The Stork Tower). The next arc is probably the same length and deals with new issues that arise out of this story. Stop reading now if you hate any information. [Not really a spoiler but it definitely gives the direction I'm headed]
Leah will still be working through Dunyanin, but she'll spend a lot of time with her father in 'Runes of Destiny.' (Some people have wanted more to happen here, and it has always been the plan for the next arc to have a focus on RoD.) It also deals with the practicalities of her research. I've already started working on some of this and Michael ... (nope, too much. Sorry.)
There are several more 'arcs' in the works, not all with Atherleah. (Notes and plots being worked on as the brain plays with it. My wife is used to me getting out of bed at 2 am and going to write stuff for an hour before coming back to bed so I can get to sleep. I've almost finished the first book of one of these.
I've also been a bit focused on some of my other stories (under a different author name) as they are less science fiction/fantasy/whatever and deal with dystopian and apocalyptic themes. These have got me out of bed a fair bit during this 'crisis.'
I know that's a long answer, but I've been meaning to give an update.
Thank you for the interest and the question.

The Way of Sacrifice was awesome! It was also way more brutal then Stork Tower. Why did you connect them together? I like them trying to figure out what PAI stands for. Ha. Was this supposed to be released in episode format like your Ethan Stand series? Any word on book 2 of Sacrifice (or would that be episode 4-6?) or any update on writing scheduled? Hope you and your family are in good heath and cheer!
