Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Erik Schön I've been fascinated by strategy ever since the late 90s when I joined a startup where the founder was a big fan of Clausewitz, the famous 19th century strategist, always reminding us about the importance of creating unfair (!) competitive advantages. From the early 2000s I worked on developing and deploying strategy for products, services and organizations on and off in various leader roles. Sometime during this journey I found Sun Tzu - the Chinese strategist from around 500 BC and started reading several translations and always felt lost in translation; I felt there was always something missing: often practical knowledge of leadership and strategy, seldom knowledge of ancient Chinese language and history. That's where it all started.
