I'm confused about Light After Dark. This book takes place after Linda and Big Mac's 40th Anniversary. There is a scene where they show Mallory pictures from their 40th Anniversary trip. So I know this book takes place after that. Mallory says she is 39 going to be 40 on August 9. How can that be if Big Mac and Linda have been married 40 years and Mallory was conceived before he met Linda?

Hi Marie, I was searching for a romance/suspense series similar to "In Death" by J.D.Robb (which I love!) and your "Fatal" series was recommended - should I read the prequel novella first or jump straight into the series and read the novella according to the order/year of publication?
