Is this at all similar to the Netflix series?

The Jesus Fandom I watched the series, and... no. It's very different. There's no magic in the book, and Tiuri is not followed by Arman, Foldo, etc. Also, one of the knights is changed into a girl. There's added romance between characters, Tiuri's parents are very different, there was no mention of racism in the book, and the villain never appears (only smaller villains are seen in the book).

Paulina No! There are many many differences. The main one being that there's zero magic or supernatural powers in the book. Also, the characters are very different since the book focuses only on Tiuri and his journey. We do get context from other characters he meets along the way but it's all from his point of view. I personally loved the book more than the Netflix series.
