Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Richard McColl While this is effectively my second book, in a way it's always been the first as it has been underway for more than a decade. The inspiration has always been my adopted homeland of Colombia and the experiences in a rural town which, at times, defy all understanding...but then, I begin to absorb and engage on a local level.
