Abhijit Naskar:
Does not man create God? That is why God is so human. Name one characteristic God has that man (in one form or to a degree) doesn't have. Is not consciousness the connection between the individual and The All ( all that ever was,is or will be; infinite,no beginning, no end). In materialism, life comes from something material. But the how is hidden, ultimately undiscoverable. unknowable.
Abhijit Naskar
If you begin an investigation with the conclusion that what you seek to understand is ultimately unknowable, then you've lost the battle against ignorance before you've even begun. Knowable and unknowable are both human constructs - to have true understanding of the natural world, one must go beyond both, stepping firmly on the grounds of reason while fostering acceptance for others' weaknesses. The existence of God is not the question here - nor is the definition of consciousness - the real question is, how does your ever-evolving understanding of yourself in relation to nature effect your life as well as the lives of those around you. Read no scripture, but help those in need and you'd be divinity incarnate - study no intellectual publication, but help those in need and you'd be the wisest person alive.

Dear Abhijit Naskar — I want to quote you on Facebook about something where the age of the person being quoted matters, i.e. the difference between millennials (born since 1980 or so) and older generations. But I can`t find your age. Will you be so kind to supply it, please? — Leon van den Berg (1946- )
