Hello! Now, are some of your Dog's Purpose Puppy Tales actually in the adult books, or are some of them like made up? What I'm trying to ask, is if all the Puppy Tales come out of the adult books. Like, I know Bailey and Ellie do, but what about Lilly and the others?

That's a great question, Sasha. The answer is, some are, some aren't. Lily and Shelby for sure are not. Toby is very, very loosely based on A Dog's Journey, so I'd put that on the list and say no, Toby's Story is not from any other novel. The rest are based, to a degree, on the grown up books!

I am so excited for your new book from the Dogs with a Purpose series entitled “Ripley: Fire Station Five” to come out this August. Now I would like to ask you a question about it. Why did you choose a border collie as the star dog in the book instead of a Dalmatian? Since Dalmatians are associated with fire rescue purposes. I am not complaining, I’m just asking you a simple question.
