What inspired you to write the Framed series?

I've always loved mysteries and wanted to write one. The idea behind TOAST is a game I play to pass time while waiting in airports. I try to see how much I can figure out about other people in the terminal only by looking at them. It's actually kind of fun and scary how much you can tell sometimes.
