What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Chris S. Dixon -writer I don't claim this to be original advice at all, but I would say to read, write, then read and read again. Develop a feel for language and a love of words, i have been a journalist/writer/editor and now author for more than 32 years and my passion remains. Look at other writers you admire and see how they connect with the reader with dialogues and descriptions of environments and characters. Revise and re-write, I am a seat of the pantser when it comes to the writing process, rather than an out liner, but I do make notes and undertake research depending on the story I am writing.
