I've just started Three Dark Crowns and I LOVE it. I was wondering, as an author, if you had any advice for young writers hoping to get published? Especially surrounding query letters?

Kendare Blake Yes! Spend time on your query letter. Test it out on folks. Ask them, “if this was on the flap of a book jacket would it make you want to read the book?”

Then carefully do your research when deciding who to submit to. Be sure to follow their guidelines! Also, keeping a tracker spreadsheet for submissions is a big help.
