How do you get inspired to write?

Emily Thiede By enjoying as much art as possible: Books, movies, television, comics, etc. When I'm absorbing the work of other creators, I'm refilling and rejuvenating my own creativity. Many times I've worried that I've run out of ideas, but it only took a few days of relaxing and enjoying other people's creations before my mind flared to life and I was inspired to write something new. We don't live in a vacuum, and we don't create in a vacuum. If you look to your fellow creatives, you'll never run out of inspiration.
