Ava asked:

Is it me, or was Jeremiah so perfect in the second book, but in the third book he ends up seeming even less charming than Conrad in the second book?

Iana You're not alone. Jeremiah was so great in the second book and it did feel quite sudden that he had the guts to cheat on Belly making Conrad seem like the best option. I think that's what made me give the book 3 stars. The character development wasn't so great.
Sophia fr... and it was so odd too because in the second book he loved and cared for her so much and all of the sudden in this book he was..um..disaoointing. like its so hard to believe like they were so in love and just one week in which they were "broken up" he went off and had sex with another girl. like what.
Evee Definitely not just you!! This book was very disappointing to me, and i'm gonna blame it on the fact that the characters seemed so perfect to me in the first book. There really wasn't a need for improvement, so I guess the author just made them downgrade....

Sam Eldridge Seriously you are not alone! The second book is my favorite in the series and a big part of that was because Jeremiah wasn't like his brother. Well, the third book fucked that up. Jenny Han really didn't need to turn Jeremiah into a complete douche to make Conrad seem like a better option for Belly or turn him into something she didn't portray him as in the first two books to have Belly choose Conrad, you could tell in the first book that at the end of the day she was ALWAYS going to choose Conrad.
Kate YESSSS. IT SO DID. I mean I get it, we've never seen the "other side of him" but like he was really sweet even like at the parties in previous books, idk. I was Team Jeremiah before but now, Conrad all the way.
