Hi!! Huge fan of your books and I love Morgan Dane (and Lace and Sharp and the girls, etc)!! I was curious what kind of books you read in your downtime. Do you still gravitate towards thrillers or do you just switch gears completely and go for a romance or fiction? If you do read other thrillers, are there any particular authors you really love?

Melinda Leigh I read across almost all genres. When I'm in the middle of writing a book, I don't read my own genre at all. I enjoy most stories from crime fiction and thrillers historical fiction and fantasy. If I'm in the mood for nonfiction, I usually choose memoirs. I love a good story, whatever the genre. That said, the last crime fiction I read was Skies of Ash by Rachel Howzell Hall. Last night, I finished Skin Game by Jim Butcher. I love his Harry Dresden series.
