How do you deal with writer’s block?

Benny Hinrichs I do one of three things. First, procrastinate. Second, write something else, which is a productive form of the first option. Lastly, I stare at the drawing board and concentrate until I know what I actually want to have happen in the scene. A general lack of understanding is usually what blocks my writings. I overcome this by just focusing on the story and figuring out what needs to happen.
