I just finished reading IWWV I love it so much. I was wondering if there was ever an alternate end that you waned to go for? Did you know how the story was going to end when you started writing, or did to get to it while writing?

I'm a very thorough outliner, so yes, I did know how the story was going to end before I started writing. I never seriously considered any other ending, but because I prefer to let it speak for itself I'll leave it at that.

Hi! Thank you so much for writing my favourite book. I'm also very glad that you put so much emphasis on ambiguity and allowing readers to make their own interpretations; to me this encapsulates the whole beauty of literature and I'm very glad it's so open-ended. ANYWAY, I was wondering how different your first draft was from the final product? Did the plot change much, or did it follow the same outline throughout?
