Amber Yeah it's been left up to interpretation. I wish there was more after the manga... But it doesn't go past them preparing for College.
Also I didn't find any contact info for the author. Doesn't seem like she has a website.

Hmmm Not sure where you can find her but maybe they do? Maybe not. Can't really say. We probably won't ever get an official answer to this question so you can leave it to your imagination.
