asked
Laurence E. Dahners:
I was re-reading the Ell Donsaii series to get ready for number 16. I realized after reading book 13 "DNA" and then starting book 14 "Bioterror" that they were the same book. I got both books from Amazon. I deleted #13 and bought again. Same thing. Not sure if it is just my copy or system wide. Any idea why this is happening?

I replied to Chris as below:
I'm so sorry this happened to you.
I accidentally uploaded the wrong manuscript onto DNA a while ago. I constantly re-edit the books to try to improve their quality, then reupload them. It's surprisingly easy to upload the wrong one onto a title. It was fixed within a few hours, but you must have downloaded your copy during that window.
Getting Amazon to fix this issue is very difficult so I'm attaching a copy of the DNA manuscript.
You can upload the manuscript to your kindle with these instructions. https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindl...
Alternatively, you can try to contact Amazon through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the Amazon page, fill out some forms and eventually their customer service will let you get a fresh download instead of the same one you have. They are reluctant to send out updated copies for fear customers will be angry because this causes a loss of customer highlights and notes.
Again my apologies.
