Hi, can someone explain the word “pollock” that is used in this novel? In the U.K. it means “an idiot” or, in Cockney Rhyming Slang, it means b*llock, but i’m not sure if that is how it’s used in the USA. (I’m almost 100% sure the cockney isn’t used, lol) Thank you 😊
Alex Braiman Pollack. The original Polish spelling is Polak, and it means a Pole (a person of Polish descent).
