Hi Michael! I was curious about the release date for Age of Empyre. Some authors are pushing back their release dates due to COVID-19, citing not being able to promote the book, do signings, etc. Do you anticipate the release as planned, or might it be moved back? I'll support you either way (and already pre-ordered it), but an added wait would be brutal! :)

Hey Dave, thanks for asking. So the ebook for Age of Empyre is still launching on May 5th (and as far as I know, so is the audiobook -- it was recorded in late March and early April, and that should be plenty of time for the re-mastering, and as Audible is the producer, and they are highly promoting the title, I think they would have mentioned if that release date is in jeopardy.
As for the hardcover, we've had a bit of a problem with printing given the Coronavirus. But it is on the press now and while it's possible it will be in the warehouses by May 5th, we pushed the release date 3 weeks so that there is plenty of time for the books to move from the printer to the various warehouses. So a slight delay, but not too bad.
As for promoting activities...I don't go on signing tours or things like that (I'm not big enough for such things). So that's not a consideration. Thanks, fo pre-ordering, that's a huge help. Books with good preorder sales get more attention by the booksellers, so thanks for that.
If your pre-order is for the ebook...that's available right now from our website.
Thanks for the support. I'm glad you are looking forward to the final installment.

Hi Michael, we’ve heard that Hadrian’s mum apparently died when he was young. But we don’t know much more. Are we ever going to learn more about her or meet her (such as in the cycle or chronicles)? I’d also love to see a short story about a younger Haridan the way we did about Royce. Have you considered doing this? Thanks, I hope your having a nice day 😁

Mankind in Elan is much younger than in our world, and has come from Calis, where humans are dark-skinned. Does that mean that all of humanity, also those in Elan, is much more dark skinned (than caucasian people in our world) in general, since there hasn't been that much time, evolutionary speaking, to develop different features such as pale skin? (How) would this influence the mir?
