This is 18th book I the series. When you wrote Deja Dead in 1997, did you have any idea that it would lead to 17 sequels (more if you count the half numbered books in the series and a TV show that would run for 13 years and inspire thousands of girls to get involved in your career field?

Kathy Reichs I had hoped to continue with the series, but I had no idea I would go on to produce a TV show, write a YA series and 20 years later still be writing a Temperance Brennan novel almost every year. I am very grateful to all of my readers who allow me to continue doing what I love.
