John asked Kathy Reichs:

I am wondering as an inspiring writer how do you find major ideas for books do you stumble accross them or do you have the whisp of an idea that you seek out?

Kathy Reichs I have a lot of ideas from cases I've worked. Also if I see an interesting article in a forensic journal or a news article I've read, I will save it for later. Anything I do, read, hear or see can be grist for the next book.
