The Unicorn "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" is my second favorite of Brian Selznick's three novels (after "Wonderstruck" but before "The Marvels") and "Hugo" is de…more"The Invention of Hugo Cabret" is my second favorite of Brian Selznick's three novels (after "Wonderstruck" but before "The Marvels") and "Hugo" is definitely somewhere in my top 50 favorite movies. Both I love, and the movie is a pretty loyal adaptation with some minor changes. If I had to choose between the two, I would have to go with with Martin Scorsese's masterpiece— this story demands to be told in a visual medium and it deserves it!(less)
