Robin Stevens Hi Anna, I really hope you like Death in the Spotlight! I'd say Daisy would think of herself as lesbian - she's not interested in boys at all (and also queer as a positive concept wasn't really around in the 1930s - we're lucky that we have so many more ways to think about our sexualities and gender identities now) - but I hope that people who are bi/pan/queer can also see themselves in her!

How do you write a good descriptive scene in a story? Yours are always so realistic like when describing Daisy, Hazel, dead bodies, Hong Kong, England etc.
