I just want you to know that you are a dope storyteller. I love you novels. I stayed up all night last week reading Obelisk Gate. I follow your blog and I've read some of your tweets no current events. Do you think you will ever write essays, autobiographical, or anything non-fiction for print?

Well, I've written probably a hundred or so essays and autobiographical bits for my blog. Not sure I'll ever seek publication for them beyond that, though.

Your ability to craft stories and play with PV and perspective with words has led me to recommend your books to people who don't generally love the genre. My question is, do you struggle to move on to new stories after writing something as lengthy as a trilogy? I don't mean having new ideas, but moving past characters like Hoa to new stories? If that makes sense! Thanks!

I was wondering if you ever got any push back for your representation? And whether you think the diversity of your characters is one reason why your gorgeous stories have not yet been picked up by the film industry?
