How is the quarantine affecting your book release and writing? Life in general? (I love your writing!)

N.K. Jemisin Well, I had to cancel my book tour, so it's caused a significant change in that sense. Otherwise, though, staying at home all the time has been my norm for the past couple of years, since I quit my day job, so it isn't really all that different!

I was wondering if you ever got any push back for your representation? And whether you think the diversity of your characters is one reason why your gorgeous stories have not yet been picked up by the film industry?
