I really enjoyed Dark Matter! I work and am getting a grad degree (not physics) from the University of Chicago. I also lived in Logan Square for 6 years, and Roscoe Village with my friend for a few months when I first moved to Chicago. My question is about the Village Tap. That is in Roscoe Village, not Logan Square! So I presumed you were blending the Roscoe Village Village Tap maybe with Whirl Away on Fullerton?

Blake Crouch Correct! But that Village Tap IS the one that inspired the bar in the book.

Hello Blake, I have read quite a few of your books in the last couple years. Even got my friend to read as well, as we read books at the same time, each taking turns picking what to read. I can't find any recent news regarding Recursion Netflix or Sony's Dark Matter movie. Can you give us anything regarding the status of seeing these come to tv/movies...?

Why exactly did you name the book "Dark Matter"? Superficially, it doesn't deal with that topic at all and, as far as I remember, mentions it only once. I have an assumption, but wanted to ask you first :)
