Jen Campbell
Jen Campbell asked Scott Hildreth:

I know that I like closer to books that I read and that is why I write reviews and/or have book discussions with friends. Do you need closer after writing? or when the story is over do the characters leave?

Scott Hildreth Some characters do leave. Ryan from Dying To Survive left in a hurry, and I was thrilled. The Fat Kid, on the other hand, lives within me, riding his pomegranate skateboard.

Christy Cross bothers me every day, wanting me to tell a story.

I hear Kelli from Baby Girl giggling off in the distance every day.

Shane and Kace are real, but they aren't as active. Ripp on the other hand, that big dummy is part of my day-to-day activities.

And now, Kenton, Downes, Parker, and Victoria are alive and well, drinking tea downstairs, learning lessons of life.

My closure is publishing. More often than not, the characters remain long after the book is gone and forgotten. But...

They're part of me, so here with me they remain.

Great question.
