What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Erica Nyden The best thing about being a writer is getting lost in the stories and worlds I create. I also love determining how my characters would react to certain situations based on their pasts. I'll often make up stories about their lives that have happened before the present story. By doing this I feel like I'm adding a little layer of who they are. It's also fun to come up with ways others deal with issues or problems that are completely differently from how I would deal with them.
