I read dark matter last year and I absolutely loved it! Every time I read a book with an intricate plot i always find myself wondering if the author planned it out roughly from the beginning or if they just kind of winged it and went where the story took them. So I'm curious, did you know how the story would end when you started writing the book?

I know what will happen through the midpoint, and then I start writing. At the midpoint, I usually take a pause to figure out how the rest of the book should go.
