People seem to be focusing on Quentin's behavior, whereas for me the main issue is the way female characters are handled BY THE AUTHOR. So, the fact that their attractiveness--or lack thereof--is described literally every dang time a new female character is introduced. Made me crazy. That and the weirdness around consent (and how that is handled, again, by the author, not discussing Quentin's motivations here), and the very different ways straight characters and queer characters are handled.
