How much time do you spend researching ideas versus writing the actual book? How accurate would you say your books are to the theories they are based on?

Blake Crouch I would say I spend equal time researching and writing. I'm also researching even as I writing the book. In terms of accuracy, of course I make some speculative leaps, but I have top scientists in their respective fields read my manuscript before publication and I make changes based on their recommendations so that all of the concept I present are as accurate as plausible. And even if the technology isn't currently possible, we make the best guesses for what would be needed in the future to make them possible.
