For me, the best thing about being a writer is having an excuse to let my imagination run wild. Having an imaginary world and its people alive in my head is both wonderful and a curse. On the plus side: I am never alone. On the negative side: I am never alone. They wake me up in the night, insisting I write something down that they believe I’ll forget. They chatter loudly to each other during the day, distracting me when I’m trying to navigate in the real world.

I couldn't find a way to contact you, so I hope this is okay. I just wanted to let you know how touched I was by Sheever's Journal. I absolutely loved that book, and am so glad you wrote & published it. I feel like I've been waiting for someone to write a novel like that for so long.
